Our Story

ConviKtion was built from a life spent in sports, competition, sacrifice, and belief.

Rich played professional baseball for nine years, coached professional baseball for eight years, and has spent the last decade coaching Division I college baseball. Missy played Division I softball and now pours that same passion into coaching and mentoring female athletes. Between us, our lives have been shaped by dugouts, gyms, long drives, early mornings, hard lessons, and unforgettable moments spent chasing dreams alongside our children. Two have gone on to play Division I softball, one is committed to begin her D1 journey next year, and two are working every day to follow in those same footsteps.

But our story is about more than sports. Life has brought struggles, setbacks, failures, heartbreak, and moments where the path forward felt impossible to see. Through every challenge, ConviKtion became more than a word to us — it became a mindset. A family mindset. The belief that you keep moving forward even when you can’t yet see the light at the end of the tunnel. The discipline to keep showing up. The strength to push through disappointment, adversity, and failure without giving up.

The ConviKtion mindset is about choosing belief over excuses. It is about preparation when nobody is watching, resilience when things fall apart, and confidence built through hard work instead of comfort. It is understanding that failure is not the end of the story — it is part of the process. Champions, athletes, coaches, parents, and dream chasers all face adversity. What separates them is the mindset to keep pushing forward anyway.

ConviKtion is for the people willing to outwork doubt, silence negativity, and continue showing up through every setback, challenge, and season of life. It is the daily decision to stay disciplined, stay driven, and refuse to quit on yourself.

That is why we built this brand. We wanted to share our story in hopes that ConviKtion can inspire others to keep fighting for their goals, believe in themselves through difficult seasons, and continue chasing greatness no matter what stands in their way.

Because greatness is not just talent.

It is a mindset you train yourself to have every single day.

Built through the game. Fueled by ConviKtion.
